It's 2 for the price of 1 this week because by the time next Monday rolls around I'll be working on dial-up. Ick. So MVM is going to go on hiatus until at least the New Year. But it's not next week yet so on to this week's videos.

First up is the video for "Christmas Is All Around" from the movie "Love Actually". I had my annual viewing of the movie this weekend and I was both surprised & pleased to see they'd actually made a video for the song. Enjoy!

Spamalot

This past Saturday I went to a performance of "Monty Python's Spamalot" and it was awesome. And I'm probably going to get yelled at for this but I liked "Spamalot" more than I liked "Monty Python and the Holy Grail". Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed "Holy Grail" - I just laughed more during "Spamalot" than I did during "Holy Grail".

I would have loved to seen this with the original cast. Tim Curry, Hank Azaria, David Hyde Pierce, and Sara Ramirez? You can't get much better than that. However, the touring cast is excellent. If you get a chance to see "Spamalot", take it. It's worth it.

(At the souvenir kiosk they sell killer rabbit slippers and if they weren't $45 I totally would have bought them.)

Edit: I forgot to mention that in the program they had an ad for shows that are coming up and Avenue Q is coming in June for 6 days. Since it's coming the week after finals my mom has agreed to get tickets as a graduation present. I can't wait. :-)

That Thing You Do! - The Director's Cut (Two-Disc Special Edition)

I don't think I'd seen this movie since in came out in '96 until I watched it again tonight. Let me tell you, it's just as good as I remember. How could you not love The One-ders?

If it's been awhile since you've seen this movie (or you never seen it), watch it soon. (P.S. - The special edition DVD comes out May 8th.)

Of course, now the main song from the movie is going to be stuck in my head until the end of time. But, it's not really that annoying of a song so it won't be too bad.

I'll just get it stuck in all of your heads :-D:
