It's 2 for the price of 1 this week because by the time next Monday rolls around I'll be working on dial-up.  Ick.  So MVM is going to go on hiatus until at least the New Year.  But it's not next week yet so on to this week's videos.

First up is the video for "Christmas Is All Around" from the movie "Love Actually".  I had my annual viewing of the movie this weekend and I was both surprised & pleased to see they'd actually made a video for the song.  Enjoy!

A few weeks ago my mom flew to Sacramento and, according to her, on the way there she sat next to the father of the bass player for Death Cab for Cutie.  Now, I know my mom and if she's ever heard of Death Cab for Cutie it's because I mentioned them once or twice around her so I'm trying to figure out how him being the father of the bass player in Death Cab for Cutie came up in conversation.  Does he go around introducing himself as the father of the bass player in Death Cab for Cutie?  Apparently he also mentioned that his son is spending/saving the money he gets from being in Death Cab for Cutie wisely (i.e., he's not "blowing it" according to my mom).  Once again I'm trying to figure out how this came up in conversation.  Sure my mom can strike up a conversation with almost anyone but I'm still wondering how she got these pieces of information out of him.  They just don't seem like things that would come up in a normal conversation.  Especially since my mom knows almost nothing about the music I listen to.

Since Halloween is a couple days away I figured I would post a Halloween-ish video this week.

And since it is Halloween week, we should be getting our first snow of the season any day now.  I hope it comes soon because the cold is no fun if there's no snow.

This is kind of a pre-Halloween music video - I've got a good one about witches for next week.  Unfortunately Sony turned off embedding for this video (bastards) so you'll have to click the video to watch it on YouTube.

I first discovered Prangstgrup 3 years ago or so, enjoyed their videos, and then kind of forgot about them.  However, someone recently posted a link to their website on a message board I read and I was reminded how much I enjoy their stuff.  I think one of my favorites will always be this one - "Reach!: A Lecture Musical".  You can check out more of their videos at their website.
